15/16 Oct the World’s Most Valuable Collection with Daniele Barresi and Hilton

OCT. 15 – OCT. 16 Soap Gallery Sheds Light on Hygiene Epidemic and Celebrates Expansion of Company’s Global Soap Recycling Program WHAT:

On Global Handwashing Day (Oct. 15), Hilton will open ‘The World’s Most Valuable Collection at the Soap Museum’ in New York City’s Hudson Yards. Commissioned by the leading hospitality company, the one-of-a-kind installation will be open to media and the public for two days only, showcasing 10 three-dimensional sculptures by world champion soap designer, Daniele Barresi. The pieces are inspired by typically expensive items, such as jewelry and perfume, to underscore the true value of soap – a life-saving resource that many do not have access to around the world. Attendees of the exhibit are invited to experience a live carving on-site by the artist. After making its New York City debut, ‘The World’s Most Valuable Collection’ will be showcased in London; all the pieces from the museum will be recycled or donated after the experiences close. This important exhibit commemorates Hilton’s recent announcement of expanding its soap recycling program, totaling more than 5,300 properties in 70+ countries around the globe. In-line with the brand’s Travel with Purpose corporate responsibility program, Hilton – which has already recycled and distributed more than 11 million bars of soap to date – aims to fight the hygiene epidemic plaguing underserved communities. The international expansion is part of a long-standing partnership with Clean the World, the global health leader in sustainability and water, sanitization and health. WHEN:
